Statement Taking and Interview Services
Where interviews and statements are required SSI Investigations will compile a detailed summary to qualify liability to a particular claim or enquiry. Depending on the nature of the case, and the brief provided by the client, it may also be necessary to obtain information from the witness regarding the wider nature of the case and the claim or enquiry in question.
We are specialists in assisting a variety of professions by carrying out interviews and statement taking. Our trained interviewers will obtain statements from both clients and witnesses to help build evidence. We are experts in obtaining witness statements to support or question a claim and being highly trained and experienced in investigative tasks will use all appropriate resources to obtain statements and evidence.
When taking a statement, the interviewer must obtain as much information as possible without leading the witness whilst recording his or her evidence with complete accuracy. Taking comprehensive witness statements can be time-consuming as the statement taker must question each witness about every minute detail in order to compile the most comprehensive evidence possible to support the case being presented.
We will take instruction from clients to obtain statements in a wide variety of case types and areas of law including road traffic accidents, industrial disease and clinical negligence cases and other personal injury cases.
